Usually when life per se throws Subliminal Guru challenges at us, the question you need to ask is whether you want to be part of the problem or part of the solution. To be part of the problem means that you intend to try to solve the problem and hope that the problem goes away and never come back. If you work within this paradigm you will realize that you can never become a good problem solver as you will constantly be in a position of fire-fighting. What you got to do is to learn to become part of the solution. This means that whatever the challenges that you face, realign your thoughts to see what you can do to solve the problem well by finding long-term solutions. Again this may not be the easiest thing to achieve, but the more you realign yourself in this context the more you will gain from it in the long run. Further when you are solution-focused you will not be afraid to face the problems which will then force you to come up with strategies to resolve these problems.
English philosopher John Donne said: "No man is an island, entire of itself... any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee." If you want to be successful you need to work with successful people and most importantly you need to create an environment whereby the people in your life feel successful by being with you. This would mean that you sometimes have to work with people and tap into their knowledge, know-hows and experiences. Every person that you meet is an opportunity for you to learn something from them. And as you learn remember to teach others of your expertise when you can and where you think that it is needed. When you adopt this mindset you will not only learn to enjoy life but you could see that the people in your life will want to see you succeed just as much as you intend them to be successful.
