Honestly, I do not see the Salehoo difference between the two accept that one involves the internet and the other does not. Whether a kid sells lemonade on a street corner, has a paper route, babysits, mows lawns in the summer for some extra cash or runs a web store, he or she is involved in business, albeit on a small-scale. What is important is that kids understand that they do not necessarily need money to make money. As long as people perceive a product or service to have value, they will be willing to pay for it.

That could be the impetus for young people to create more products with value instead of opting for get-rich schemes which treat the product as an after thought but give prominence to selling a certain type of lifestyle.

There are many books available that document the success of young entrepreneurs who have made it big at a very young age. Some made their millions by creating programs and internet based services. And there are those who have used shopping cart software to create popular stores. These stores may have just cost them $50 a month for the ecommerce software subscription, but have made them hundreds of thousands by the time they are old enough to legally consume alcohol.

Many of these successful stores are later sold for millions, providing an option for their young creators to retire before they hit the age 30. I remember reading about Australian multi-millionaire - Brad Sugars - complaining that the problem with retiring so young is that all his friends were still working trying to pay off student loans, let alone their mortgages, so he had to hang out with his dad's friends. Well, there has to be a downside to everything, I suppose.
